Dream come true

I only wanted to see a turtle and I did so it was a dream come true

Similan tour

The Similan Islands is very beautiful. I hope they control the boats because it's quite busy and the environment looks like it's suffering, luckily the islands close for half the year. Coral damage was evident, may be from the tsunami, but we saw a turtle, a moray eel, parrot fish, a huge trigger fish and lots of other schools of fish. The fish are bigger here than at Phi Phi.

We had a really good group on our boat and that made it a lot of fun. The guides were excellent at showing us things that they found underwater.

Turtle Rocks!!

Beautiful islands for swimming and snorkeling. Only 15 people in our boat so we were lucky.

What to expect

The Mu Koh Similan marine national park is made up of 9 islands although three of those are closed to tourists.

The fringing reefs at the Similans are shallow depth with crystal clear water, ideal for snorkeling. Schools of fish are abundant. You can also expect to see turtles, eels, stingrays and much more. Similan island beaches have snow white sand which you will have a chance to dip your toes in during the tour. You can also climb the Sail Rock view point on Koh Similan (island number 8).
